DESCRIPTION:The session will introduce CoM SSA’s approach in supporting local governments to finance climate projects. The basis of this discussion is the keynote input of the GIZ CoM SSA study “Finance Roadmaps for Climate Projects – How can local governments in SSA facilitate access to finance”. This input will structure the roles and responsibilities of local governments to facilitate finance of climate projects and the support that the different CoM SSA partners are providing.
